What do you find most rewarding about working at Dowling & Yahnke?
The most rewarding part of the job is knowing that at the end of day, our team tries to do the right thing for each client. Each client will be given the best that we can offer.
Why did you join Dowling & Yahnke?
I joined D&Y because of its incredibly smart and talented individuals who strive to do the right thing for their clients. This is reflected by the fact that D&Y does not always choose the easiest path to serve its clients, but it strives to do what is best.
Which hobby are you most passionate about?
I enjoy reading and studying modern history because it sheds light on how we can understand the world today. There is so much that can be learned from the mistakes and triumphs of the past.
Can you play any instruments? When did you start?
Yes, I play the acoustic and bass guitar. I avoided musical instruments all my life until I began playing the guitar freshmen year in college. I loved it so much I would practice for hours until my fingers could not stand the pain anymore.
What brought you to San Diego?
I moved down to San Diego from the Bay Area to help serve my church which was only two years old when I arrived. It was neat wearing many hats and doing whatever was needed to help build our young church. I got the privilege of being able to lead the church band and take care of music needs for those early years.
